Eight guides for Oahu, and almost none of them are about Waikiki. On the windward side there is Lanikai and Kualoa Ranch, which gets two guides: one for families, one from the saddle. At the eastern tip, Makapuu Point has its lighthouse trail. In the southeast corner are the restaurants near Hanauma Bay and the Spitting Caves at Portlock, and up on the North Shore is Laniakea, the turtle beach. One practical note before you plan: non-residents need an advance reservation for Hanauma Bay, and Lanikai has no public parking lot. Sort out transport first.
